RHONDOS Acquires the Worldwide PowerConnect Business

Dear PowerConnect Customers, 

I’m writing today to share an important milestone and to welcome you into our newly incorporated, global business. 

RHONDOS Inc. has acquired the SoftwareOne organization responsible for the PowerConnect technology and the trusted relationships that have supported it for many years. As a result of this transaction, RHONDOS Inc. is now the global business operator for PowerConnect and the owner-in-waiting for the PowerConnect intellectual property (IP). 

This is both a continuation of what works today and a significant step forward in what we can deliver tomorrow. 

What “global business operator” and “owner-in-waiting” mean 

Effective immediately, RHONDOS Inc. is responsible for leading global business operations for PowerConnect for SAP Solutions. That includes customer support, delivery services, product investment planning, licensing administration, and the overall customer experience. 

“Owner-in-waiting” means that RHONDOS has contractual rights and obligations related to the future transfer of the PowerConnect intellectual property. While certain formal steps will take place over the next several months, our direction is clear: RHONDOS is building the long-term home for PowerConnect and will steward the roadmap, support model, and customer commitments accordingly. 

What this means for non-RHONDOS customers 

For PowerConnect customers who have procured the technology through resellers other than RHONDOS (or via SoftwareOne directly), the change is minimal: 

  • Your contract continues uninterrupted. There is no disruption to your use of PowerConnect because of this change. 

  • Support and services continue. Same coverage by the same personnel, with additional global support to back them up. 

  • You gain expanded capabilities. RHONDOS brings additional resources, certified expertise, and expanded global coverage. We are investing in operational excellence and future-facing innovation to ensure PowerConnect continues to serve as a trusted capability in modern enterprise environments. 

If you have open support tickets, delivery milestones, or renewal discussions underway, those continue without interruption. 

What this means for RHONDOS customers 

For RHONDOS customers, this acquisition strengthens our ability to deliver end-to-end solutions and long-term platform value: 

  • Expanded technical depth. The PowerConnect development and support staff that we’re acquiring is world class and well-aligned with our customer-centric philosophy.  

  • Broader global coverage. This integration expands our ability to support customers across regions, time zones, and complex operating environments. 

  • More continuity and durability. Bringing PowerConnect operations under RHONDOS’ global business model ensures long-term stewardship, improved scalability, and stronger investment capacity. 

What does not change 

While this is a major step forward, several things stay the same: 

  • Your existing agreements remain in force. Any changes to contracting or licensing will be handled thoughtfully and communicated well in advance. 

  • Your data, privacy, and security expectations remain intact. RHONDOS operates with strong controls for enterprise customers, and we are committed to meeting the standards you expect. 

  • Your success remains our priority. We are not asking you to re-learn everything you already trust. We are improving the operational foundation and expanding what’s possible.
